RECONSTRUCTION OF RAILWAY WAGON "SLOVAK SHOT"

In August 2019, we were approached by the Ostrava upholstery company EXCORDE OSTRAVA - Mr. and Mrs. Kupkov, who are the owners of this company, if there was an opportunity in our company to design and produce a plush fabric that will be used to reconstruct the upholstery of the seats in the "Slovak Strela" railway car. as part of the reconstruction of this car.

Mr. and Mrs. Kupka contacted several Czech and foreign manufacturers of upholstery materials. However, no company promised them the implementation of this project either for technological, time or quantitative reasons. Our company promised EXCORDE cooperation on design and subsequent production.
To create the appropriate pattern, we were only provided with a black-and-white period photo of the car, from which we together derived the color and pattern of the upholstery plush. In the first stage of production preparation, we created a technical prototype of the fabric pattern, which was then approved by the ČMŽO workers, restorers and the EXCORDE company. After the subsequent approval of the pattern and color, a complete order of upholstery plush was produced.

In the 2nd phase of textile patterning for the reconstruction of the railway car, we then patterned and then produced the window curtains. The development of the pattern was similar to the production of plush car seats.
